This ad really caught my attention visually, and made me want to find out more about what was going. It features a hand with blood, which actually makes use of the physical magazine. This is something that really stands out and amazes people in today’s day in age.
The blood itself does a great job of catching the eye of the viewer, as it is startling at first. Everything is tied together with a headline (also the name of the television show it is promoting.) All the elements work nicely to bring everything together.
It would be really interesting to see more ads like this.This ad shows a really creative use of the magazine that is the first of its kind.This concept is already seen in a lot of ambient advertising, but it is seen less in traditional advertising. As this ad demonstrates, a little creativity can go a long way.
